Frequently Asked Questions

How is the traditional Azerbaijan visa process?

When we talk about how to get an Azerbaijan visa in a traditional way, first you need to think of the financial and time costs of going to a consulate. Then you need to take time off work because embassies are open during business hours, of course. Then, depending on where you live, you may have to travel to reach the embassy.

What other option do I have?

Thankfully, you can rely on e-Visas, which are the best way to arrive legally in this country.

What is an Azerbaijan e-Visa?

This visa is an official electronic document that provides authorization to easily travel to Azerbaijan and is electronically linked to your passport.

What documents do I require to apply?

It's not something out of this world, these are the papers you'll need:

  • Passport page
  • Last page of passport (if applicable)

With iVisa, you'll also need a Credit/ Debit card to process the payment.

Azerbaijan Visa Price

If you choose iVisa to get an evisa, you will be more than satisfied. You can decide how much you want to pay, and that's because iVisa provides three options when it comes to processing time.

You have to keep in mind that the faster you need your visa, the more you are going to pay. However, the most important thing is that you have choices, so you just have to select the best one for you according to your needs.

Here are your options:

  • Standard processing time – this is the cheapest option you have, and most people go for it, especially if they have no reason to hurry. It is true that the application will take 10 days to be reviewed, but if you have no rush, this is the way to go. The fee for this processing time is USD $79.99, so your final price for this visa will be USD $105.99, since this includes the price of USD $26.00 just in the visa.

  • Rush processing time – this option will cut the waiting time in half compared to the previous option. Your visa will arrive via email within only 8 days, but you have to pay more. The price for the visa remains the same, USD $26.00, but the service fee is higher. If you choose this processing time, the service fee is USD $79.99, which would bring you to a total of USD $173.99.

  • Super Rush processing time – the last option is meant to satisfy the needs of people who have to be on the next plane and are not eligible for a visa on arrival. Although that';s not always the case, of course. Perhaps some people just like to get their visas as fast as possible, and that can be your situation.

This option means that your application will be processed within only 7 days. As you may have guessed, the service fee is higher, USD $79.99 to be more precise. That means you have to pay a total of USD $254.99 for your Azerbaijan evisa.

You should keep in mind that the prices do not change according to nationality. The currency used above is just for the sake of a simple comprehension but the fees can be converted to your own country's currency. Also, you have multiple means of payment at your disposal. You can use a credit or a debit card, whichever you see fit.

How much time does it take to apply for this e-Visa?

In just 20 minutes or probably less, you'll be ready with your application process.

How is the process to apply with iVisa?

It's actually pretty simple to complete the application form, it is divided into three simple steps:

  1. The first step is leaving your personal information just like in any form. You will also have to choose the processing time to decide how much time it will take for you to get your visa.

  2. The second step is for you to review all the information and proceed with the payment. It is important to fill in the form accurately and correctly. Payment can be made using a credit/debit card. Please, don't forget that after your application form is issued, we cannot change any information, and this means that you need to repeat the entire process in case there are more errors.

How long can I stay inside Azerbaijan after I get this visa?

You can stay in Azerbaijan for a maximum of 30 days in Total. Please note that if you are planning to stay in Azerbaijan longer than 10 days, you need to register properly with the State Migration Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan once you enter the country. You're able to do this by asking your hotel to apply on your behalf - they will be able to assist you.

How long should be the validity of my passport?

Before applying to your Azerbaijan eVisa you should consider the validity of your passport. It must be valid for at least 3 months from the date the e-Visa is issued. Also, it should have at least one blank page so you can have your stamp.

Can I leave and re-enter Azerbaijan with my e-Visa?

This is related to the number of entries this visa has. You have to know that this eVisa has Single Entry, so you can't leave the country and enter again with the same visa.

In that case, you have to get a new e-Visa in order to re-enter the country.

I have more unresolved questions, where can I find more information about this?
