Yes, you do. As a Taiwanese citizen, you can remain in Myanmar for 28 days in Total.

What is required to apply?

We will work out all the officialism so that Taiwanese do not have to, but you need to provide a few pieces of information to help them get started. The requirements are easy to get, and chances are you have everything you need.

This is the list detailing all the info of each document you need to send us:

  • Valid passport – getting a passport is not an obstacle for you, and if you already possess one, then just ensure that it is still valid. You will waste time and money because an expired passport will lead to a rejected application.

  • Digital photo of yourself – the photo must be as recent as it can be, and make sure that it meets the proper criteria (white background, no face gestures, etc.)

  • Email address – Keep in mind that the e-Visa will be linked to your passport electronically, but you still need a copy to show at the immigration office in Myanmar. iVisa will send you one via e-mail in PDF format. Print a few copies so that you can put one in each bag. It never hurts to have a spare.

  • Means of payment – During the whole application process, you will be asked to proceed with the payment for both the visa and service fee for iVisa. You can do that using a credit or debit card, and if you have Paypal, you can use that as well.

How much does the eVisa cost and how many processing times do you have?

Most Taiwanese citizens are worried about the cost of their visas and the time it takes to receive their visas to arrive. And we understand that since time is gold for some people, we decided to offer three amazing options. The faster you want your visa, the higher the total cost of the visa:

Standard processing (7 days) - USD $147.99.

  • Rush processing (5 days) - USD $230.99.

  • Super Rush processing (4 days) - USD $329.99.

Does it will take me a long time to process the application form?

You will need 20 minutes to complete your application form online.

How is the application form?

Rest assured that the process is simple when getting a Myanmar visa for Taiwanese. You just need to fill in an online form that is broken down into three steps:

  1. The first one will require you to insert your general information, beginning with your e-mail address and name and ending up with your passport info. It should not take you more than 5 minutes to do so. Also, Taiwanese must choose a processing time. It will determine the cost of the visa, so read carefully.

  2. The second step consists of a quick revision and payment. You can do that by following the instructions shown on the screen. As for the review, it is important that the Taiwanese insert every piece of information accurately. Mistakes are quite common, and revisions are impossible to make after your application will have been processed.

  3. The last step consists of a personal questionnaire and photo upload. You also may need to upload additional documents, so never expect to have the same requirements for everyone. After you are finished with the steps, just click on the submit button and wait for our response of the eVisa within the timeframe of your choosing.

Don't forget that the Myanmar eVisa has a maximum validity of 90 days after issued and you can stay inside of the country only for 28 days in Total. At the same time, take note that this type of document will enable Taiwanese to enter the country using a few particular points of entry

What are the specific points of entry for Taiwanese?

These are the ports allowed: Yangon International Airport, Naypyidaw Airport, and Mandalay International Airport if you travel by air. If you go by land, you can only enter through Tachileik, Myawaddy, and Kaethaung land border checkpoints.

How many times can I enter Myanmar with my Taiwanese passport?

You can have a Single Entry visa with your Taiwanese passport.

What would happen if my children want to come with me to Myanmar?

In case your kids are under 7 years old, they will need to apply in conjunction of you (the parents) in the same application form. Extra fee will not be added to the kids eVisas, just the visa cost which is USD $50.00.

Is it necessary to have my hotel booking before applying?

It is not necessary to have a hotel booking to apply online, so do not worried about this.

How will I know if my eVisa is ready?
