As a Bhutanese, do I require a visa to enter Taiwan?

Yes, Bhutanese citizens, must apply for a visa to enter Taiwan. You can't apply for this visa online, however, we will give you the option soon.

How many days can I stay in Taiwan if I'm from Bhutan?

You're able to remain for 30 days in Total in Taiwan.

What is a R.O.C.?

The Taiwanese R.O.C (Travel Occupational Certification ) is a formal and authorized document that allows travelers to enter and travel within Taiwan for tourism purposes.

Which documents do I need to present in order to apply?

We cannot yet provide you with a list of the exact documents for this type of visa, however, we can show you the general documents and information that governments usually request. This will give you an idea of the requirements:

  • Proof of accommodation

  • Invitation letter

  • Bank statement

  • Return flight ticket

  • Copies of your passports primary page

  • Digital passport-sized photograph

What's the validity of the R.O.C.?

Your R.O.C. is valid for 90 days after issued.

What are the processing times and how much does this visa cost?

The cost of your R.O.C will be different according to how soon you will need this document. These are your alternatives:

  • Standard (7 Business Days) --> USD $137.89.

  • Rush (5 Business Days) --> USD $191.89.

  • Super Rush processing (3 Business Days) --> USD $267.89.

How can I send my application form?

It is possible to finish the online application form in less than 20 minutes because it's very easy to understand. Nevertheless, if you require extra help, you can contact our client service at any time.

The form is divided into three steps:

  1. At the very first step, you will be requested to fill in your general info. You have to choose the best processing time for you.

  2. At the second step, you must revise the info which you gave in step one and pay the corresponding amount of money depending on your choice of processing time.

  3. In the previous step, you'll be requested to upload extra documents depending on your circumstance. For example, in case you're traveling with children, then you are going to need extra documents.

Will I get multiple entry times for Taiwan with the R.O.C.?

Unfortunately, no. This document only allows you one single entry to Taiwan.

In case that I'm just transiting through Taiwan, do I need a visa too?

No. You don't have to submit an application for a visa as long as you remain in the transit area.
