Canada, together with other approximately 60 states, is one of the countries whose citizens are no longer required to visit an Uzbek embassy if they wish to go to Uzbekistan. That is because Uzbekistan adopted the electronic visa system, and Canada is one of the eligible countries. As a result, you can apply online for your visa with almost zero effort. iVisa will help you with that for just a small fee.

What are the requirements?

With iVisa, your effort is ‘almost’ zero because you still need to provide some information and some documents. However, there is nothing out of the ordinary on the list of requirements, and you should have an easy time putting it all together. Here is what you need before moving on to the application form:

  • Passport – you need to have a valid passport. Moreover, the passport needs to maintain its validity for at least another 6 months from the date of arrival in Uzbekistan. Take a look at your passport’s expiry date before you apply.

  • Digital scan of your passport – iVisa will ask you to upload a scan of your passport during the application process. Make sure that the scan is in JPEG format.

  • Digital passport photo – a photo of you must be linked to your electronic visa, which is why you need this one as well. The more recent the picture is, the better.

  • E-mail address – iVisa will send you your visa via e-mail, so make sure you have a valid e-mail address. Do not forget to print out the document you receive. In multiple copies, preferably.

  • Means of payment – when you fill in the application form, you will be required to make the payment that covers both the visa itself and the service fee for iVisa. You can use a credit/debit card, PayPal, Alipay, or WeChat.

What are the costs?

iVisa takes great pride in having competitive fees. Plus, you are given the opportunity to choose one of the three processing time, which means that the cost of your Uzbekistan visa differs depending on your selection. Here are your choices:

  • Standard processing – when you select this option, your visa will arrive via e-mail within 5 business days. This is the cheapest option you have at hand. It costs only $40.

  • Rush processing – if you do not want to wait 5 days for your Uzbekistan e-visa, you can opt for this option instead. The waiting period is cut to 72 hours, and you will be charged $60.

  • Super Rush processing – if you need to leave sooner than 72 hours, this is the fastest option you have. Your application form is processed within 48 hours. Of course, you will spend more money on this option than on the other two. The Super Rush Processing costs $80.

Uzbekistan visa for Canadian citizens – the application form

The application form you need to fill in could not be simpler. The terms are not ambiguous, you need to provide the bare minimum, and if you need some assistance, iVisa can help you 24/7.

The form has three steps you need to complete. The first one requires you to fill in your basic information, passport info, and some other details about your trip. Plus, you need to select one of the processing times mentioned above. The second step consists of revision and payment, but do not treat this step lightly. It is imperative that you provide accurate and correctly spelled information. Any error can lead to an invalid visa. The last step requires you to upload some document.

After you are done filling in, you can submit your application and wait for your document to arrive via e-mail in the timeframe of your choice. Do not forget to print a few copies of the document before you leave to Uzbekistan.

As you can see, getting an Uzbekistan e-visa for Australian citizens is a piece of cake with iVisa. The document is valid for 90 days and you can stay for up to 30 days in Uzbekistan. You are allowed to enter the country only once using the same visa.
